NORWEGIAN GLULAM CONTROL

Modern glue and jointing technology has led to improved use of wood for constructive purposes. An important result of this development is the longitudinal jointing of structural wood.
Building authorities allow this technique used in studs, floor beams, roof beams etc., provided that the manufacturer is subject to a publicly approved control system.

The production requirements are given in NS-EN 385.

There are at least two visits to the companies that are members in Norwegian Glulam Control every year.
