NORWEGIAN STRENGTH GRADING INSPECTION SCHEME
Bergene Holm AS is a member of Norwegian Strength Grading Inspection Scheme.
Norwegian Strength Grading Inspection Scheme (Norsk Trelastkontroll) is a voluntary association of suppliers of wood to control and ensure that the sorting of wood/timber is according to NS-INSTA 142 and NS-EN 14081-4 and carried out correctly. The scheme applies to both visual and machine sorting.
The members of the Norwegian Strength Grading Inspection Scheme (Norsk Trelastkontroll) have the right to use the NS-mark their construction wood.
Norwegian Strength Grading Inspection Scheme (Norsk Trelastkontroll) conducts inspection visits at least twice a year.

Approved companies in Norsk Trelastkontroll have the right to mark their wood with the NS label. Most are also certified to the CE label.
